Our Process: Your Goals Drive the Planning

Most financial planning begins and ends with numbers. At Envision Wealth Advisors, we begin with a Values Based Planning approach that ensures all financial decisions are based on the client's personal values. We use a proprietary model called Wealth Optimization that helps our clients first identify and express their values and goals. Through this process our clients clarify the risks and opportunities that are both present and future. Once this is established we design an effective plan to help eliminate the risks and capture all potential opportunities. We deliver a highly customized plan to help you achieve your greatest potential in life and transcend it to future generations.

There are four phases of the process, Discovery, Planning, Implementation and Monitoring. The process is similar to going to the doctor for a medical condition. When you first go to the doctor you are asked to fill out a medical history and meet with the doctor to get acquainted with each other. The doctor may then order tests to determine what the problem is (Discovery). The next visit is to access the results of the tests and come up with options and solutions for healing your condition (Planning). Next you and your doctor choose the treatment that seems best for you (Implementation). Finally you make follow-up visits to the doctor to make sure the treatment is working and no other medical problems are cropping up (Monitoring). Lets take a more in depth view of the four phases of the Wealth Optimization Process.

Phase I: Envision Inspiration

Where Discovery Leads to Inspiration

Undoubtedly the most important phase, the purpose of Envision Inspiration is to bring clarity to your values and goals, address the emotional issues attached to our goals. The journey is a bit different for everyone, but there are three main steps:

Our First Meeting
At this 30-minute meeting, we begin the process of discovery, or getting to know each other. In an effort to better understand your needs, we ask you to complete a straightforward, yet powerful homework assignment, which we review prior to our next meeting./

The Discovery Profile Meeting
Your answers from the homework assignment provide a relevant starting point for our discussion and the ideal springboard for learning more about you at this session; where you are now, and where it is you want to be. We use all of this input to prepare your customized Discovery Profile Report.

The Discovery Profile Report
This report is a comprehensive overview of your greatest goals, and the factors that will influence your ability to achieve them.

The objective of Phase I is to identify and eliminate your greatest danger, to understand and capture your best opportunities, and to determine and maximize your unique strengths.

Phase II: Envision Planning

Where Inspiration Leads to a Plan

Only after you clarify what it is you want to achieve and why it's important, can you then consider who will help you to achieve it and how. Phase II, Envision Planning, helps you to decide which strategies effectively eliminate dangers and capture opportunities. Think of Phase I as choosing the destination, and Phase II as determining the route for getting you there.

Your solution may include additional coaching services such as a family retreat to introduce other members of the family to your mission, vision, values and goals and/or components of traditional financial planning - i.e., a cash flow analysis, net worth, portfolio analysis, tax planning, estate planning, business planning, education planning, retirement planning, risk management, or investment planning. At Envision Wealth Advisors we will work with your existing team of advisors or bring in specialists as needed to give you the best possible options and solutions to achieve your goals. Most importantly, this phase clearly reflects, in a written plan, your aspirations and creates the roadmap for fulfilling them.

Phase III: Envision Achievement

Where Implementation Leads to Results

By the time you reach this phase, the most demanding part of this process is behind you. We now take your plan and quite simply, put it into action. Envision Wealth Advisors will work with your existing team of advisors or bring in specialists where needed to implement your plan.

Phase IV: Envision Evolution

The Intersection of Financial Planning & Life Planning

Financial planning is not a "once and done" event. As your life evolves, so should your financial plan. That's why we hold semi-annual meetings and conduct conference calls throughout each year to monitor investment performance and keep your plan on track. More than maintenance and reevaluating plan performance against your goals, Envision Wealth Advisors works with you to achieve an integrated financial life plan.
